John Dolce, Kay Janky, and Gary Hanson were recognized for their service as HISID Commissioners.  John Dolce served December 2008 to December 2011.  Kay Janky also served from December 2008 to December 2011.  Kay passed away December 18th surrounded by her loving family; true to her dedication, Kay attended BOC meetings through her illness until her term expired in early December.  Gary Hanson served April 2011 to December 2011.

The Board approved the construction of a fire-resistant record storage room in the lower level of the District Administration Building, renovation of 2-bedroom apartment in the lower level of the District Administration Office to be occupied by a deputy assigned to Holiday Island, and replacement of the Yacht Club Roof.  Approval was also given to extend the Rec Center hours to 9am - 3pm daily; weather permitting.

The Board have been working diligently to hire a District Manager and are narrowing their candidate choices.
